No such luck.
Because my school is known for being a science school, the science program is the biggest, and its majors tend to have more time slots. For the other majors, however, there is often only ONE slot available for any given Lit or Comm Arts class. I've managed to be lucky in this regard so far, but this coming Fall I will be saddled with not one, but TWO FRIGGIN NIGHT CLASSES.
Fffff.
Alright, enough complaining. Today marks my first Monday back from spring break and I can definitely feel myself in the home stretch. My break, while not exactly wondrous (though the Hunger Games premiere was great), gave me enough time to recuperate and get ready to close this semester out. And man am I ever ready for it to be over.
The Hunger Games-inspired album had some pretty good songs on it, this one included. Hope you enjoy as much as I have been, though I admit I'm not very familiar with this band.
I don't blame you about the night classes. Night classes are the worst.
ReplyDeleteI used to be all like "hahahaha I'm a night person this won't be too bad" then I was proven horribly horribly wrong. But I will probably, maybe, hopefully be getting into the class I want, which is at night.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR CATCHING FIRE TO BE A MOVIE. I feel it will be even better than the first. And maybe Mockingjay will be better as a movie, as out of the three I felt it was the weakest book.
Man I kind of like night classes... They are usually more open than the other ones, so I can crowd all of my friends in there with me, just for fun.

Philosophy at night would be kind of shitty though, and a three hour PHIL class sounds pretty terrible...
I just like the 75 minute night classes.
What time are your late classes this semester?
I have Creative Writing from 6:00-9:30 on Tuesdays and Public Relations Writing in the same time slot on Wednesdays. I'm a morning person, and my brain just works better in the morning, so I'm not terribly fond of night classes. I usually wake up on my own around 6:30 in the morning, and I rather like it that way, lol. Makes the day feel more productive, somehow.

ReplyDeleteOur night classes don't really go later than 8, which I think is acceptable. I feel like 6:00-9:30 is just like 'hey Missy we don't want you to be in any extra curricular activities this semester.'
