Climb Pretty Shoe
A poem by Fielding Edward Watson III
climb pretty shoe
make your way to the void
become that which is seen
to be chosen, to be needed
do your part to protect the grotesque form.
the piece of us we chose to hide
constrict, yet
make your way to the void
become that which is seen
to be chosen, to be needed
do your part to protect the grotesque form.
the piece of us we chose to hide
constrict, yet
So guys, I hope you enjoyed that poem. I personally love it with all of my heart because it's so silly, much like Fielding and his name. (He is sitting next to me, laughing).
In any case, thing I think I have my summer plans all figured out. I'm going to Cambridge, England. Not Massachusetts. I'll be around for all of June and part of May. But yeah, I got accepted into the summer study abroad program I applied to. I'm pretty excited.
That's pretty much all the pertinent news I have for you guys.
EDIT: I switched the song because Kimya Dawson is awesome. I went to her concert, it was super chill. Also, ffffffffuuuuu financial aid for summer programs is hard to come by and all the deadlines were in mid-February. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. :-/
I'm pretty much at my wits end and so is everyone else here. Free mental breakdowns for all at CMU. All the mental breakdowns and none of the sex. That should be the motto, not "My Heart is in the Work"
Oooh, lucky! We must do all the things before you head off across the pond then, yes?
ReplyDeleteWooo Cambridge?! Sounds mad sweet, yo.
ReplyDeleteWill you come back with an accent?!!
Also, explain this poem to me. HOW DO SHOES CLIMB THEY ARE INANIMATE OBJECTS
Bury yourself in debt if that's what it takes to study abroad. DO ITTT. It sounds like all the fun possible. How long will you be british?
ReplyDeleteI'll be gone from July 7th -August 17th
