toot toot here comes the sad train

Here's some bummery things going on in my life:
A lot of the amazing people that I started out working with have recently quit. One became a burlesque dancer and I missed her going away party. This other chick is like a full-time therapist that also writes and teaches yoga and does art and photography and MAN I wish I could have heard more of her stories. Gaby left because she was super interested in doing Thai massage but you can't do that at my work because it involves climbing full on the client and ME has a corporate policy against that haha. I did a trade with her and it was amazing! A couple of the girls at the front desk have quit and I get the feeling some more therapists are going to as well.

Really not fun shit: one of my coworkers molested me during a trade. Full on undraped my boobs and tweaked my nipples and I froze and did nothing (except laugh a bit. whoooops). He apparently did this to another coworker and she didn't report him either. So I've been dwelling on that guilt for a couple of months... :1c If he did it to two of us, it's very likely he'll do it to clients or whatever, but like. I didn't report it right away and I don't want their to be any backlash on ~me~. I know there won't be anything... like... legally... but he's kind of ~beloved~ at the place and just. IDK, man. I've been wanting to talk to him about it but I tend to freeze whenever we're alone so that's a no-go.

I think this is why I dread going to work a lot of days. I thought it was seasonal affective disorder, but now I'm kind of doubting it. Ah, well.

Of course, this is the one coworker that doesnt SEEM like he's going to leave any time soon. Bummer.

On a positive note: I love ya'll. 'eeeeeeeeey

  1. Uhmmm I would definitely report that guy.
That is all sorts of not okay.
It doesn't matter that you didn't do it immediately, especially if you think he might do it again.
Does HR have anything for anonymous complaints? Or you could request to remain anonymous, if that would be better for you? They've gotta have *something* like that.

  2. Yeah I'm with Missy on this one. Could you get your other coworker to said something too? They can't possibly ignore both of you guys (if they do I will reign holy hell down upon them).
I'm sorry to hear that bunch of your cool coworkers are leaving. Maybe new cool people will come in? The world is full of cool people.

    I love you too!
