I don't actually have a ton to say, but this song has been playing on a loop in my head the past few days and I wanted to share it with all of you:
Don't know why, but I can't stop listening to itttt.
Uh, and I guess here's a picture of an annoyed Frankie (he's getting so big!)
Look at that eye roll! Such disdain!
Now I guess I'll go do all the things I've been putting off this morning:
1. Write an irate letter to Meijer for being jerks
2. Laundry
3. Homework
4. Make up the 3,000+ words I skimped on for Nano
Hope you all are having a more fantastic weekend than I'm having, though my 11/11/11 was lovely~
Dude:
ReplyDelete1. Helena Beat is on the same playlist as Wide Eyes (my original song post). The whole deal is pretty sweet.
2. WHY DOES FRANKIE HATE ME HE IS SO ADORABLE :C
3. What did Meijer do?
Haha, Frankie's actually a lot friendlier now. Well, sort of. When people walk in the door he flops down on his back and gives them his "love me" eyes and demands a tummy rub, which is a step up from fleeing into another room, I'd say! He just doesn't like being held all that much.
ReplyDeleteAs for Meijer...Well, there was an author signing there the other day for Paolini (guy who did Eragon, etc) but they wouldn't let us so much as SEE HIM unless we bought a copy of the book from Meijer. Ordinarily I wouldn't have a problem with that, but 1) they did not say this was something we had to do on the website 2) I was not about to pay 30 bucks for a book I already owned (or anywhere from 12-15 bucks, for that matter) and 3) they should really only do that sort of crap with major authors. Like... I think I only had that happen to me once where we had to buy a book from the hosting establishment in order to get things signed, but that author had like, a bunch of friggin' books--OPTIONS! Things I did not already own and did not mind paying for! Paolini only wrote four friggin' books! And he's not even that great an author!
I was really more outraged on Mel's behalf than on mine, since not only does she not get her book signed, but she also has to wait to read it since she had it sent home for the signing rather than directly to her school.
And if Paolini's agents are likewise to blame for such a shitty stipulation, they'll be getting an earful from me, too.
I am so in love with your rage it is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMissy Rampage!!!
Kitty Kitty Kitty! He got so big!
ReplyDeleteAnd screw Meijer, that is incredibly uncool. I completely agree with you guys.
Haha yeah, I understood it yesterday when my friend called from Boston to say that he saw Bill Clinton signing books.
ReplyDeleteIt made sense that you had to buy his book to see him because, well, he was President once.
Paolini was never president, to the best of my knowledge.
